An Amazon predator that ‘zaps’ prey

Greater than 200 years after the electrical eel impressed the design of the primary battery, it has been found that they will co-ordinate their “zaps”.

Researchers working within the Amazon filmed eels gathering in packs to herd prey, then beautiful them with a synchronised electrical shock.
