Electrical eels work collectively to zap prey

Douglas Bastos, from the Nationwide Centre for Amazonian analysis in Manaus, Brazil, filmed the behaviour – capturing the second of the collective electrical strike. Small fish, referred to as tetras, are the goal of the assault; they fly into the air and land surprised and immobile on the water.
