Abhay Singh, popularly known as “IIT Baba” on social media, allegedly threatened suicide, prompting the police to intervene at his hotel in Jaipur. Upon questioning, he admitted to being under the influence of marijuana but claimed he was unaware of what he had said online. The police discovered marijuana in his possession, leading to legal action under the NDPS Act (Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act). Further investigation and interrogation were conducted at the hotel by the local authorities.
