India Pakistan Missile Strike: Operation Sindoor Kills 70 Terrorists in Precision Attack

India executed a bold and highly coordinated military operation named Operation Sindoor, targeting nine terror-linked sites across Pakistan and Pakistan-Occupied Kashmir (POK). The missile strike, launched in retaliation for the recent Pahalgam terror attack, resulted in the elimination of 70 terrorists, including high-ranking operatives from Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Mohammad.

The strikes, conducted using 24 precision-guided missiles, were completed in under an hour. Real-time drone surveillance confirmed the destruction of terror facilities in key locations such as Muzaffarabad, Rawalakot, Bahawalpur, and Neelum Valley. Indian intelligence had monitored these sites for months, identifying them as staging grounds for cross-border infiltration and militant training.

Government officials stated that the operation was carefully planned to avoid civilian and military casualties. No Pakistani military installations were hit. While Pakistan reported nine civilian deaths and several injuries, Indian sources maintained that all targets were directly linked to terrorism, and every effort was made to minimize collateral damage.

The operation marks a significant shift in India’s counter-terror strategy. Unlike previous actions, this strike penetrated deeper into Pakistan-administered territory, sending a clear message against state-enabled terrorism. India also received international backing for its right to self-defence, with many global powers urging restraint but acknowledging New Delhi’s need to respond to repeated provocations.

Operation Sindoor represents a new phase in India’s security policy—swift, precise, and strategically assertive—aimed at dismantling the infrastructure of terror and disrupting the nexus between militant groups and their enablers across the border.
