The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) officially announced the schedule for the RRB Non-Technical Popular Categories (NTPC) 2025 exam on May 13. Candidates who have applied for graduate level NTPC posts can now review the exam timeline and other information for the first stage of the Computer Based Test (CBT 1).
RRB NTPC CBT 1 Exam Pattern as follows
The CBT 1 will consist of 100 objective type questions, categorized as:
General Awareness: 40 questions
Mathematics: 30 questions
General Intelligence and Reasoning: 30 questions
Candidates will be given 90 minutes to complete the test. The marking scheme includes a reward of one mark for every correct answer, while a penalty of 1/3 mark will be deducted for each incorrect response, as per the negative marking rule.
Exam Dates and Other Important Information
The CBT 1 examination is scheduled to take place between June 5 and June 23, 2025. This phase of the examination plays an important role in the selection process for various posts in the Indian Railways.
Access to Exam City and Admit Cards
Registered candidates can check their exam city and date, and download the Travel Authority (only for SC/ST candidates), 10 days before the exam the official websites of their respective RRBs. Furthermore,(admit cards) will be available for download 4 days prior to the exam date.
